Shifting Anatomy. The ushi-oni has a 75% chance to ignore bonus damage from sneak attack or critical hits.
Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Demonic Resistance. If the ushi-oni fails a saving throw, it may choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The ushi-oni can make one gore attack and one attack with its bite.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 6) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 6) piercing damage. If the ushi-oni moves 20ft. in a straight line before making this attack, the creature must make a DC17 Dexterity saving throw or take an additional 7 (2d6) fire damage and be pushed up to 10 ft. away and knocked prone.
Fiery Poisonous Spit (Recharge 6). The ushi-oni exhales in a 60ft. line that is 5ft. wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 14 (4d6) poison damage and 14 (4d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. At the start of the affected creature's next turn, they must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 hour. Creatures who succeed the saving throw are immune to the poison for 24 hours
Web (Recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one creature. The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC14 Strength check, bursting the web on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC10; hp 5; vulnerability to slashing damage; immunity to acid, bludgeoning, fire, poison, and psychic damage). A creature restrained by the web takes 4 (1d6) acid damage at the start of each of its turns.
Death Aura (1/day). If a creature has dropped to 0 hp within 60ft. of the ushi-oni, it can use an action to emit a soul-leeching aura. Creatures within a 20 ft. radius die instantly if they fail a death saving throw. Creatures that die within the aura grant the ushi-oni 9 (2d8) temporary hit points and a +2 to their Strength score. This ability lasts for 1 minute.
Bloodied Spray. As a reaction to being reduced below 81 hit points, the ushi-oni immediately recharges and uses its Fiery Poisonous Spit.
