Bloated Husk. The Bogbone starts with 30 (5d8+10) Temporary Hit Points and negates its vulnerability to bludgeoning. When hit by a slashing attack, the Bogbone regains its vulnerability to bludgeoning damage until the end of its next turn. If the Bogbone has no temporary hit points remaining it regains its vulnerability to bludgeoning damage. They are also resistant to fire due to the water in their bloated bodies.
Multiattack. The Bogbone makes two melee attacks.
Slam Attack. The Bogbone can use its Slam attack if it has Temporary Hit Points.
Corpse Disguise. When not moving Bogbones are hard to distinguish from other swamp corpses, granting a +5 to Deception and Stealth.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6+3) bludgeoning damage plus 5 (2d4) poison damage.
Bone Smack. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6+3) bludgeoning damage.
Description
Bogbones are Undead that have been raised in swamps. Still tied to their fleshy forms, these Skeletons wear the bloated husks of their old bodies like armour. This padding protects their fragile bones from bludgeoning attacks and constantly shifts to provide cover, even if pieces are cut off. Their bloated bodies contain so much water they are also resistant to fire, however they are slower than other skeletons.
