False Appearance. While the Whitesphere remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary fungus.
Grasping Tendrils. The Whitesphere can have up to 4 tendrils at a time. Each tendril can be attacked (AC 20; 15 hit points; immunity to psychic and poison damage). Destroying a tendril does no damage to the Whitesphere, which can extrude a replacement tendril at the start of its turn. A tendril can also be broken if a creature takes an action and succeeds on a successful 14 DC Strength check against it.
Multiattack. The fungus makes 2 Tendril attacks.
Tendril. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. HIt: 8 (1d4 + 6) bludgeoning damage, plus 18 (4d8) necrotic or poison damage. If this damage reduces a creature to 0 hit points, that creature is dead and in 1 hour, 1d4 Young Whitespheres sprout from the body. The target is also grappled by the Whitesphere (escape DC 14). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained.
Description
In a Whiteshere colony, Adult Whitespheres typically come right after the Ancient Whitesphere. They obey the stronger Ancient Whitesphere, and when an Adult Whitesphere becomes old enough, it might become an Ancient Whitesphere, giving it extrodinary power compared to its current form. This only takes place if the Ancient Whitesphere dies and needs to be replaced. The Adult Whitesphere has spores on its tendrils which infect many creatures it attacks. It resembles what its name suggests, a sphere that is white. The sphere looks like it was made out of white vines or twigs.
