Ambush: Advantage on all Stealth Rolls if the Wendigo hasn't been spotted.
Mimicry: Wendigo can mimic any sound or voice its heard. A creature can tell its an imitation with a DC 17 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Pounce: If the Wendigo moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is knocked prone, the wendigo can make one bite attack. against it as a bonus action.
Mask of The Wild: The wendigo can attempt to hide even when its Lightly Obstructed by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, of other natural phenomena.
Feast: If there is a dead humanoid near the Wendigo it may use its action to eat a part of that person to gain advantage on the next attack or to heal one hit die.
Multiattack. The windego makes one bite attack and one claw attack.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (3d6 + 7) slashing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (3d8 + 7) piercing damage.
Description
A horrific creature formed by necessity driven mad with hunger.
It hunts for lost hikers that scale the snowy peaks of Caldera in an attempt to satiate its bloodlust. These creatures or formed when groups of people are lost to a blizzard and a lone survivor has to make a difficult decision to either die of starvation, or join the hunt.
