Description
The animated bearskin is a grotesque construct made from the sewn-together remains of one or more bear hides. Once it is disturbed from its resting place, it moves with a disturbing fluidity, the remains of where limbs and joints once were contorting in unnatural ways as it scurries about on all fours, seemingly alive again. Its beadlike eyes come alive, filled with a malevolent hunger.
At rest, the animated bearskin appears to be nothing more than a discarded trophy, perhaps hung on a wall or stored away in a closet, or lying on a floor. However, when provoked or commanded by its creator, the creature springs to life with startling speed and ferocity, attacking with its razor-sharp claws and powerful jaws.
