Keen Senses. The ajaja has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks.
Pack Tactics. The ajaja has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Snow Camouflage. The ajaja has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in snowy terrain.
Icy Winds. An icy & snowy wind storm surrounds the ajaja in a 20-ft radius when in flight, causing all ranged attacks to be at disadvantage and gives it half-cover.
Flyby. The ajaja provokes no opportunity attacks while flying.
Multiattack. The ajaja makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its talons.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (4d8 + 9) piercing damage.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (4d6 + 9) slashing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the ajaja can't use those talons on another target.
Cold Breath (Recharge 5–6). The ajaja exhales a blast of freezing wind in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The ajaja can take 3 legendary actions. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Arctic Blast. While on the ground, the ajaja can beat its wings. Each creature within 20 feet of the ajaja must succeed a DC 19 Strength saving throw or fall prone. This area is now considered difficult terrain, and a creature must spend 4 feet of movement for every 1 foot they move. This effect does not stack if the action is done to the same area.
Description
Artist credits: Julia from Drawfee inspired this drawing. I took her basic form from their 4/30/2019 video called "Artists Draw Animals Based On Their Scientific Names" and adapted it to better fit this specific combination.
The ajaja ajaja is a cross between a roc and a winter wolf. They are carnivorous and typically hunt in packs. They sometimes ambush their prey by burying themselves neck-deep in snow and pretending to be a helpless winter wolf pup.
Ajaja ajajas communicate with one another using growls and barks, but they speak Common and Giant well enough to follow simple conversations.
