Traits

Adhesive. The honey adheres to anything that touches it. A Huge or smaller creature adhered to the honey is also grappled by it (escape DC 18). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage. A weapon is also adhered to the honey when a creature attacks with a weapon and hits the honey, requiring a successful DC 18 strength check to pull it out, which has disadvantage. While the weapon is adhered to the honey, it can't be used.

Grappler. The honey has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the honey or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 9 (2d8) acid damage. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the honey corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to -5, the weapon is destroyed. Nonmagical ammunition made of metal or wood that hits the honey is destroyed after dealing damage.

The honey can eat through 2-inch-thick, nonmagical metal or wood in 1 round.

Actions

Multiattack. The Acid Honey makes two pseudopod attacks.

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 13 (3d8) acid damage. The target is subjected to its Adhesive trait. In addition, nonmagical armour worn by the target is partly dissolved and takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC it offers. the armour is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.

Description

The Acid Honey looks exactly what it sounds. A large blob of honey that is filled with acid somehow comes to life. They are smarter than most oozes. Some can be tinted purple or green. Once it grapples you, it can be very hard to get out because of the honey.
