Description
Warforged titans are hulking constructs built to wreak paths of destruction through enemy armies. Some of the most feared combatants of the Last War, warforged titans are barely sentient, with just enough intelligence to follow commands.
Legacy of Giants. In the Age of Giants, giant artificers built mindless war golems to aid them in their war against the quori. Millennia later, some of these golems were unearthed by adventurers searching for the secrets of that age, then turned over to artificers working for the dragonmarked houses during the Last War. House Cannith studied these designs, and in the course of uncovering the secrets of the golems and the giant artificers who made them, House Cannith created the first warforged titans.
This Warforged titan was siezed by The Daask and experimented on as well as had its appearance modified to look more like an Ogre. The Daask recently came into possession of a Colossus "Master Docent" and attempted to use it to make their ill begotten titan as intelligent as an average Warforged, in order to create the ultimate enforcer. However, even the most skilled craftsmen among The Daask were baffled by the Cannith engineered titan. The experiment resulted in a titan that could barely speak and has the intelligence of a particularly dim witted child. The Docent however was regrettably destroyed in the process. People have begun referring to the titan as, "Strongjaw" because of its reinforced Ogre-like jaw plate.
After it failed its first field test, the Daask became desperate to craft one of the greatest weapons of modern times, a Titan that could think like its smaller human sized counterpart. Resorting to kidnapping a scion of House Cannith to clean up and streamline the jumbled inner working of Stronjaw's, "Brain." After weeks of forced laboring, the Cannith scion managed to enhance and advance the effects of the Daask's previous modifications, leading to Strongjaw gaining the intellect that the Daask so desperately sought.
