Angelic Weapons. The Angel of Death's weapon attacks are magical. When the Angel of Death hits with any weapon, the weapon deals and extra 6d8 radiant damage (included in the attack).
Magic Resistance. The deva has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. The Angel of Death makes two attacks. One with it's weapon and one with its wings.
Chakram. Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 60/120 ft. 1 target. Hit: 20 (4d6+6) slashing damage plus 27 (6d8) radiant damage.
Wing Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 24 (4d8+6) slashing damage plus 27 (6d8) radiant damage.
Impale. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, range 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 36 (8d8+6) piercing damage plus 27 (6d8) radiant damage. On a successful hit, the target must make a DC 20 Strength Saving throw or be grabbled and restrained until the Angel of Death moves away from it. As an action, the targeted creature can attempt a DC 20 Strength (Athletics) check to free itself from the grapple.
Scream of the Tormented. Each creature within 60 ft of the Angel of Death that can hear it, must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Angel of Death's Scream of the Tormented for the next 24 hours.
Rain of Feathers (Recharge 5-6). The Angel of Death swirls and unleashes a barrage of razor sharp metal feathers. Each creature within 20 feet of the Angel of Death that is behind total cover must make a DC 20 Dexterity Save, taking 42 (12d6) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a failed save.
Wing Shield. The Angel of Death adds 5 to its AC against one attack that would hit it. To do so, the Angel of Death must see the attacker. Until the start of it's next turn, the Angel of Death has three-quarters cover from that direction.
Description
When the newly deceased enter into the next stage of existence, often times they are guided by beings to their proper place. Commonly refereed to as Guiding Angels. However, when such a spirit goes to places of massive and violent deaths, they are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of lost souls and become trapped in such a place.
Unable to escape, their forms become corporeal. Their minds and bodies wrapped by the depravity that summoned them. Able to sense the souls of the living nearby, they will last out violently at any who draw near.
