Tornado Breath (Recharge 5-6). The skydrake exhales whirling wind and dark clouds in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Description
Skydrakes are closely related to true dragons, but aren't quite as magical and don't grow to as enormous sizes as their cousins.
Wind skydrakes are said to embody the howling gales of a storm, and their breath weapon certainly hints as such. Wind skydrakes can exhale a swirling blast of wind and storm clouds, similar to a tornado. They can also smell bloodlines, similar to a metallic dragon.
Adult wind skydrakes have dull, charcoal gray scales to help them blend in with storm clouds, and their catlike eyes are bright red. They tend towards law and simply ignore the concept of good and evil, aiding any that can meet their requirements -- which usually results in the wannabe ally attempting a harrowing test. If they succeed, they earn the skydrakes favor. If they fail, however, they are often sent back to whence they came, and if the test was especially dangerous, the skydrake may allow a creature that has been wounded to recuperate in its lair before seeing it off.
