Amphibious. The skydrake can breathe air and water.
Innate Spellcasting. The skydrake can innately cast the following spells, requiring no spell components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability:
At will: fog cloud
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage.
Downpour Breath (Recharge 5-6). The skydrake exhales water in a 60-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Description
Skydrakes are closely related to true dragons, but aren't quite as magical and don't grow to as enormous sizes as their cousins.
Adult rain skydrakes are rumored to be downpours incarnate. Their scales are glossy and jet black, and their eyes are orange with tilde-shaped (~) pupils.
Rain skydrakes can exhale a torrent of water, which may be where the legends surrounding them originated from, as well as a cloud of fog thick enough that those caught in it can't see their own hands in front of their faces.
