Description
Swamp Things. Bog Drakes live and die in deep, murky waters or fields of acrid smoke and slag in Rhymorra. They are drawn to any area with high concentrations of toxins or carrion, as both are their primary food source. Unlike most other Drakes, Bog Drakes are primarily scavengers, avoiding conflict whenever possible. This cowardice is not without its limits, however, and Bog Drakes have been known to hold grudges against intelligent creatures for years, enacting cruel vengeance whenever they can.
Slightly more intelligent than their relatives, Bog Drakes live off the dead and dying creatures in feted swamps and marshes. They use their large jaws and powerful wings to encircle prey before devouring it whole. Driven by an insatiable hunger, the beasts have been known to be drawn to large conflicts near or around water. They use their superior intellect to avoid conflict and meet out terrible traps for any who wander into their territory. They particularly enjoy toying with Crawlers, as their squishy form is considered a toy by their standards.
