Flyby. The owl doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Keen Hearing and Sight. The owl has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.
Spectral Form. The owl can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, taking 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object. The owl is immune to nonmagical damage.
Shadow Teleportation. Once per day, as an action, the owl can teleport, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
Bound Life. If the owl is reduced to 0 hit points, it dies and cannot be resummoned. If the owl dies, the summoner takes psychic damage equal to their character level. This damage cannot be reduced or avoided in any way.
Size Shifting. As an action, the owl can transform into a giant owl, assuming the size and flight speed of that creature. It can remain in this form for up to 1 hour. After using this ability, the owl cannot use it again until it completes a short or long rest.
Shared Vision. While the owl is within 100 feet of its summoner, the summoner can communicate with it telepathically. As an action, the summoner can see through the owl's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of their next turn, gaining the benefits of any special senses that the owl has. During this time, the summoner is deaf and blind with regard to their own senses.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Shift (1/Day). The owl can transform into a giant owl, as per the size shifting ability, with a duration of 1 hour. It can revert to its original form earlier by using a bonus action on its turn.
Evasion. If the owl is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, the owl instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
