Has color changing scales, but young newly hatched dragons find it difficult to control this ability. This means purple dragons can perform stealth checks but newly hatched ones have disadvantages on stealth check.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) necrotic.
Chain lightning. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 25 ft. 40 ft., one target. Hit: target makes DC 10 dexterity saving throw on a fail they take (1d10) lightning damage plus (3d10) necrotic dmage, any creature within ten ft. of the target takes (1d10) lightning damage plus (1d10) necrotic damage.
Lair and Lair Actions
Purple dragons don't really have lairs but the do like to stay in a certain area, the most common are graveyards and places of death, but sometimes they will be found wandering.
If there bones or bodies in the area a Purple dragon is staying then the dragon can reanimate its corpse.

Posted Nov 10, 2020When I first saw this Homebrew creature's name, I originally thought that someone was trying to create a wyrmling form for the race of Purple Dragon from the Spyro and Skylanders franchises.
