Magic Resistance. The Blighted Drake has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack: The Blighted Drake makes four attacks, one with its Bite, two with its Claws, and one with its Wing-Claw.
Bite: Melee weapon attack, +9 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit 14(2d8+5) piercing damage.
Claw: Melee weapon attack, +9 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit 12(2d6+5) slashing damage.
Wing-Claw: Melee weapon attack, +9 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit 16(2d10+5) piercing damage plus 7(2d6) acid damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or become Poisoned for 1 minute. While Poisoned in this way, an affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. On a failure, it takes 10(3d6) acid damage. If a creature is reduced to 0 hit points with this attack, it dies.
Blighted Breath(Recharge 5-6): The drake exhales a corrupted cloud of necrotic energy in a 60ft line that is 5ft wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 31(7d8) necrotic damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. Additionally, a creature that fails this saving throw must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or gain one level of Exhaustion.
Description
Blighted Drakes were once normal Ambush Drakes that roamed the Material Plane. However, due to a new power rising, these Ambush Drakes were taken to Rhymorra and gifted corrupted wings by the Blightbringer. That is how the first Blighted Drakes were created, and how the Blighted Drakeborne ensue after their death. The Blightbringer is an ally of the Old King, who uses Deathblossom Knights to try to wage war in Rhymorra. Blighted Drakes inhabit the corrupted Blight Forests on the Forgotten Isle, protecting the great tree where their master resides. Some say that the Blightbringer and Shadowtouched Rezakiri have a mutual understanding of conquest and are allied, but no one knows how to reach either of them safely.
Blighted Drakes used to be Ambush Drakes, but due to the corrupted wings gifted to them by the Blightbringer, these once-grounded drakes have become true monsters. Blighted Drakes sport venomous green scales with plant-like wings with vines slithering and moving all over them. They were also given a breath weapon of death, capable of killing all plant life within that area. Blighted Drakeborne are slightly more independent compared to Blighted Drakes, but they still serve the Blightbringer.
