Bad Flier. The abyssal chicken falls at the end of a turn if it’s airborne and the only thing holding it aloft is its flying speed.

Pact of the Chain Familiar. 

  • The abyssal chickens weapon attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks.
  • If the abyssal chicken forces a creature to make a saving throw, it uses your spell save DC.
  • When the abyssal chicken takes damage, you can use your reaction to grant it resistance against that damage.
  • As a bonus action, you can command the abyssal chicken to take the Attack action.

Description

Abyssal chickens are carnivorous, temperamental, tasty bottom-feeders native to the Abyss. They beat their leathery wings to scare predators and to help them run faster, and they taste like fatty chicken.
