Traits

Angelic Weapons. The Archangel's weapon attacks are magical. When the Archangel hits with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 6d8 radiant damage (included in the attack).

Robe of the Archmagi. This elegant garment is made from exquisite cloth of white, gray, or black and adorned with silvery runes. The robe's color corresponds to the Alignment for which the item was created. A white robe was made for good, gray for neutral, and black for evil. You can't attune to a robe of the archmagi that doesn't correspond to your Alignment.
You gain these benefits while wearing the robe:

  • If you aren't wearing armor, your base Armor Class is 15+Dexterity modifier.
  • You have advantage on Saving Throws against spell and other magical Effects.
  • Your spell save DC and spell Attack bonus each increase by 2.

Divine Awareness. The Archangel knows if it hears a lie.

Innate Spellcasting. The Archangel's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 25). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

Cantrips: Light, Spare the Dying, Sacred Flame, Guidance,

At will: detect evil and good, invisibility (self only), Control Weather,
lesser restoration, Bless, Cure Wounds, Healing Word, Protection from Poison,
Purify,  Mass Healing Word, Raise Dead,

3/day each: blade barrier, dispel evil and good, resurrection, Greater Restoration,
Mass Cure Wounds, Heal,

1/day each: commune, Heroes' Feast, Aura of Life, Regenerate, Mass Heal,
Power Word: Heal,

Magic Resistance. The Archangel has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. The Archangel makes two melee attacks.

Rod of Resurrection: Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d6+7) bludgeoning damage plus 27 (6d8) radiant damage.
Can be used as a melee weapon like a staff. Can heal any wound or illness. Can even resurrect the dead, but refuses to do so.
The rod has 5 charges (10 if wielded by an Archangel). You can use an action to cast one of the following spells:

  • Mass heal (expends 1 charge)
  • Sunburst (expends 3 charges)
  • Resurrection (expends 5 charges)

The rod regains 1 expanded charge daily at dawn.
Gift of Heaven:  You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon

Flying Weapon. The Archangel releases its main weapon to hover magically in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of it. If the Archangel can see the weapon, the Archangel can mentally command it as a bonus action to fly up to 50 feet and either make one attack against a target or return to the Archangel's hands. If the hovering weapon is targeted by any effect, the Archangel is considered to be holding it. The hovering weapon falls if the Archangel dies.

Healing Touch (4/Day). The Archangel touches another creature. The target magically regains 40 (8d8 + 4) hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.

Ascension form. You can assume the form of an ancient force of nature, taking on an appearance you choose. For example, your skin might turn green or take on a bark-like texture, your hair might become leafy or moss-like, or you might sprout antlers or a lion-like mane.

Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:

  • You are immune to radiant and necrotic damage.
  • You are immune to the charmed condition.
  • You have a +2 bonus to AC.
  • At the start of each of your turns, you regain 10 hit points.
  • Whenever you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can cast it using a bonus action instead.
  • Enemy creatures within 10 feet of you have disadvantage on saving throws against your paladin spells and Channel Divinity options.

Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Legendary Actions

The Archangel can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Archangel regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Teleportation (Costs 1 Action): The Archangel magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.

Blinding Gaze (Costs 3 Actions). The Archangel targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. If the target can see it, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until magic such as the lesser restoration spell removes the blindness.

Description

History
Raphael (God Heals) is the angel of healing. Has a history of punishing other angels by God’s command: Azazel, Asmodeus, Arakiel. The only angel that ever got the better of him was Turiel, their battle on Earth created the mountains, before Turiel escaped him.

Imbued with the virtue of: temperance
Archangel+seraphim+throne+virtue

Personality
Prideful, domineering, doesn’t interfere with other people's affairs, it doesn’t concern him. He doesn’t show negative emotions and secretly desires to take Michael’s place as God’s “favorite”. Because of his power and track record with defeating rebelling angels, he sees himself as second to Michael and does everything in his power to get approval from God. Though he cares for his brother, he also despises how he’s better than him in every way and how he is the favorite of God’s children.
Raphael can be described as serene and apathetic towards others. While aggressive in battle, he is calm when not and has a cool gaze constantly. He generally acts indifferent to most situations he is faced with, and rarely views his opponent as worth his time. However, he has a great sense of duty and honor, and rarely shows signs of panic or distress. He also, despite his seemingly cold exterior, cares for and loves his family deeply.
