Shapechanger. The weregator can use its action to polymorph into an alligator-humanoid hybrid or into an alligator, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Brute. The Weregator does an extra 1d8 with melee weapon attacks (not included).
Hold Breath. The Weregator can hold its breath for 30 minutes while underwater before needing air.
Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The weregator makes four attacks, only none of which can be with its bite.
Trident (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage. Or 9 (1d8+5) piercing damage when wielded with two hands.
Bite (Alligator or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d8 + 5) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with weregator lycanthropy. Target is also grappled (Escape DC 17) and while grappled they take 1d6 slashing damage at the beginning of each of their turns (only if they are grappled), the weregator's movement speed is not halved while grappling however.
Tail (Alligator or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack. +8 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6+5) bludgeoning damage. If target fails a DC 17 strength saving throw they are knocked back by 10ft.
Crushing Jaws. Melee Weapon Attack. +8 to hit. reach 5ft., one grappled creature. Hit: 17 (3d8+5) piercing damage, target also has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes to escape the grapple.
Death Roll. While grappling a creature and if the weregator has not moved this turn the weregator's movement speed is reduced to 0 and gains no benefits from increased movement speed. Upon using the the target is also restrained by the grappled and takes an additional 11 (1d12+5) slashing damage. If this does 17 damage the target is also stunned in addition to being grappled and restrained.
