Voice of Authority. Any time the Acolyte of Bane targets an ally with a spell, they may embolden them to attack, allowing one creature affected by a spell cast by the acolyte of bane to immediately use its reaction to make a single weapon attack against a target of their choosing.

Channel Divinity (1/day). The Acolyte of Bane is a cleric capable of using the channel divinity class feature. They may use this to invoke their turn undead or order's demand actions.

Spellcasting. The acolyte is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 12, +4 to hit with spell attacks). The acolyte has following cleric spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): guidance, thaumaturgy, toll the dead

1st level (4 slots): bane, command, cure wounds, heroism, inflict wounds

2nd level (2 slots): hold person, lesser restoration, spiritual weapon, zone of truth

Actions

Baneite Mace. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage. This weapon bears the hand of Bane emblazoned upon it in sacred paints and is treated as a holy symbol of Bane. This weapon makes all attacks against celestials and elves at advantage.

Order's Demand. Channel Divinity Action: The Acolyte of Bane presents a symbol of bane, either that on their Baneite Mace or on their Talisman of Bane. Each creature the acolyte of bane can see and chooses to affect within 30 feet must make a DC12 Wisdom Saving Throw or be charmed by the acolyte of bane until the end of the acolyte's next turn, or until they take any damage. The acolyte of bane can cause any creature who fails this save to drop any item they are currently holding, or give a single order to any of the affected creatures as part of this effect.

Turn Undead. Channel Divinity Action: The acolyte of Bane produces their holy symbol, either their Baneite Mace or their Talisman of Bane, and invokes the Black Lord's disgust towards the undead. Each undead within 30 feet of the acolyte of Bane that can see or hear them must make a DC12 Wisdom Saving Throw or be turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage.

Bonus Actions

Spiritual Weapon. Spell Attack Option: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. from spiritual weapon, one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) force damage. The Acolyte of Bane may move the spiritual weapon up to 20 feet before making an attack with it each time this bonus action is used, or may move it up to 20 feet without attacking if they so choose. The spiritual weapon may not move further than 60 feet from the Acolyte of Bane, and may be instantly recalled to their side instead of moved normally by using this action.

Description

Acolytes of Bane are the lowest ranks of the clergy of bane's spellcasters, versed in the magics of order and the authorities of the Black Lord. Most go through years of rigorous schooling, whether consenting or not, having the lessons of the great tyrant drilled into them time and again until it is dogma in their mind. These acolytes are no mere understudies, however, as the black hand would not field those incapable of furthering their agendas. Equipped with breastplates baring the black hand of bane, holy talismans, and a mace blessed by the black lord, these clerics serve as both spiritual guides to lesser members and thralls, and as enforcers of their dark lord's laws. Most acolytes of bane are orcs, hobgoblins, or humans, though others who join the clergy and show talent in divine magics can easily be recruited as new acolytes.
