Astral Manipulation. The Astral Devourer can use its action to create a 15-foot-radius sphere of astral distortion. The sphere lasts for 1 minute or until the Astral Devourer dismisses it as a bonus action. The sphere grants the Astral Devourer half cover, and any creature that starts its turn within the sphere must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be disoriented, granting advantage on attacks against it until the start of its next turn.
Void Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d8 + 4) necrotic damage. If the target is concentrating on a spell, it must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or lose concentration.
Multiattack. The Astral Devourer makes two Void Strike attacks.
Shadow Phantoms. As a bonus action, the Astral Devourer can summon two shadow phantoms. These phantoms have the same statistics as the Astral Devourer and share its hit points. They act on the Astral Devourer's initiative count, obeying its commands.
Deflection. When the Astral Devourer is targeted by a ranged spell attack, it can use its reaction to gain a +4 bonus to AC against that attack.
Anti-Magic Surge. Once per long rest, the Astral Devourer can release an anti-magic surge. Until the end of its next turn, any magical effects or spells within a 40-foot radius of the Astral Devourer are suppressed, and all spells cast within that area have a 50% chance to fail.
Legendary Resistance (2/Day). If the Astral Devourer fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Description
Appearance: The Astral Devourer is a massive aberration, larger than an average creature of its kind. Its form is an amalgamation of shifting shadows and swirling voids, making it difficult to discern its exact shape. It emanates an eerie, otherworldly glow that highlights its dark, ethereal essence. Jagged edges and tendrils of shadow extend from its core, giving it a menacing and chaotic appearance.
Astral Manipulation: The Astral Devourer has the ability to warp the astral energies around it. As it moves, the surrounding astral plane ripples and distorts, creating a sense of unease and disorientation. The air crackles with arcane energy, forming a hazy aura around the creature, causing nearby objects and creatures to appear distorted and shifting.
Void Strike: When the Astral Devourer strikes with its void-infused attacks, shadows seem to extend from its appendages, reaching out to drain the life force of its victims. Its strikes are precise and swift, leaving behind an ominous trail of fading darkness.
Shadow Phantoms: The Astral Devourer's ability to summon shadow phantoms is marked by a surge of dark energy. These phantoms materialize as ethereal versions of the Astral Devourer, their forms flickering and pulsating with shadowy energy. Their movements are swift and graceful, and their attacks carry a hint of the same otherworldly darkness that permeates the Astral Devourer.
Anti-Magic Surge: When the Astral Devourer releases its anti-magic surge, the surrounding astral energy distorts and flickers, creating a brief disruption in the weave of magic. The surge manifests as a wave of rippling shadows that sweep outward from the Astral Devourer, temporarily suppressing magical effects and making it difficult for spellcasters to channel their powers.
