Description

Shadow Beasts are creatures conjured up where there are large amounts of magical energy within the area. Specifically in the case of necrotic or shadow magic. These aberrations take the shape of beasts in the wild and are attracted to large pools of shadow magic. They mostly reside in the shadow fell where negative shadow magic lays in abundance, however they can also be found in places like The Abyss, The Nine Hells, or the Material Plane where there may be an unnatural source of dark necrotic or shadow magic.
