Regenerative Decay: As the Blighted Ooze feeds on decaying matter, it can regenerate itself. At the start of each of its turns, it regains 5 hit points if it has at least 5 hit points remaining and has recently consumed organic matter.
Corrosive Slam: The Blighted Ooze lashes out with a pseudopod, slamming into its target with corrosive force. This attack deals 1d4+1 acid damage upon impact, with an additional 1d4 acid damage on the victim's subsequent turns due to the lingering effect of the acid burn.
Engulf: When the Blighted Ooze engulfs a target, the victim suffers 1d6+2 acid damage at the start of their turn as their flesh is slowly dissolved within the ooze's acidic embrace. The engulfed target can attempt a Strength saving throw (DC 10) to break free and escape the Blighted Ooze's grasp.
Engulf: When a creature moves out of a space adjacent to the Blighted Ooze, the ooze can use its reaction to attempt to engulf that creature. The victim must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 10) to avoid being engulfed. On a failed save, the creature is engulfed by the Blighted Ooze, suffering 1d6+2 acid damage at the start of their turn as their flesh is slowly dissolved within the ooze's acidic embrace.
Description
The Blighted Ooze appears as a semi-translucent mass of sickly green slime, about the size of a large bear. Its amorphous body undulates and pulsates with a repulsive energy, emitting a putrid odor of decay and filth. Within its slimy form, distorted shapes and half-digested remains of unfortunate creatures can be seen, as if trapped in a nightmarish prison.
