Description
These odd, almost alien crab-like people claim vast territories along coast lines, underwater and even in deserts. They fiercely defend their claimed land and view any trespassers as an immediate threat and as someone who is challenging their strength and status. A challenge is always fought to the death. Arthro Chitinfolk collect shiny coins, gems and even magical items worth a great fortune. Little is known about their mysterious culture, although many serve evil beings of greater power or are commanded by other aquatic creatures of higher status, like Aboleth or Krakens. They often dig large pitfall traps in hopes of capturing travellers and caravans traversing the deserts and bury themselves nearby, only showing their eyes like a crocodile.
