Description
Cousins to the great dragons, wyverns have two scaly legs, leathery wings, and a sinewy tail topped with a poison stinger that can kill a creature in seconds.
Wyverns on the island of Primavera are adorned with bright colorful feathers at the tips of their appendages and a feathery plume on their crown. Typical species of these wyverns have green to blue colored scales, and have sacs that can be used to create a volatile explosion when used to attack prey.
The chemicals that the wyverns create are deadly when used against it's prey, but it has a positive side effect. Plant life exposed to the acid created by a Primaverian wyvern begins to grow and flourish, the researchers of the island believe that the wyverns play an important role to the ecosystem of the island.
