Description
This monster is essentially a mass of sentient black sludge. It may seem unthreatening(and disgusting), but due to its strange body, it is immune to any physical attacks. However, due to this monster's need of water, it is not able to survive in extreme temperatures. It grows in size by absorbing meaty lifeforms. This can range from small ants to even humans, which it traps using its sludge-like body. Inside, the creature gets digested slowly by the sludge's highly acidic nature.
What's strange about this sludge is that they aren't usually found naturally- Rather, they are created from a combination of casting Animate the Dead on a rotting corpse under a New Moon's day. The cause of death of the corpse must be the Circle of Death. The caster must also a possess the Wand of Orcus while casting Animate the Dead, and the corpse must be sufficiently rotten.
The only purpose of this monster is to feed and grow until it dies- It has no other purpose. Well, unless you're a necromancer, in which case the object it drops after death- A black orb that is of great use for necromancers, but can be the same to anyone else if they know a thing or two about magic.. Albeit with a bit more risk
