Sticky Centre. Filled with sticky jam, the Bloody Dodger adheres to anything that touches it. A creature adhered to the Dodger is grappled by it (escape DC 15 Strength saving throw).
Grappler. The Dodger has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
False Appearance. While the Dodger remained stationary, it is indistinguishable from a large biscuit-chest.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5ft, on target. Hit: 3d6+3 bludgeoning damage. The target is subjected to the Dodger's Sticky Centre trait.
Grand Slam (Recharge 5-6). The Dodger jumps into the air, moving at least half its movement and slams into the ground. Creatures within 20ft must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, being knocked prone and taking 4d6+3 bludgeoning damage on a failure and half the damage and not falling prone on a success. Targets grappled by the Dodger automatically fail.
Description
A popular method of security in Candyland, Bloody Dodgers are monstrosities taking the shape of biscuits and used as locked chests. Only opened by specially-designed keys, the Dodgers awaken after the wrong key is inserted and protect all objects within its hold.
It's a big jammy dodger.
