Amorphous:. The Biogenic Ooze can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the Biogenic Ooze or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 4 (1d8) acid damage. Any non-magical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the Biogenic Ooze corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative −1 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to −5, the weapon is destroyed. Non-magical ammunition made of metal or wood that hits the Biogenic Ooze is destroyed after dealing damage. The Biogenic Ooze can eat through 2-inch-thick, non-magical wood or metal in 1 round.
Spider Climb. The Biogenic Ooze can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Regeneration: The Biogenic Ooze regains 10 Hit Points at the start of its turn. The Biogenic Ooze dies only if it starts its turn with 0 Hit Points and does not Regenerate.
Pseudo-pod: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) acid damage. In addition, non-magical armor worn by the target is partly dissolved and takes a permanent and cumulative −1 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.
Split (recharge 6): When a Biogenic Ooze feels threatened it can split into two new Biogenic Oozes. Each new Biogenic Ooze has the same abilities and size as the original including the ability to split itself into two new Biogenic Oozes. However, splitting in two causes 10 hit points of damage to the originating Biogenic Ooze and the new one. After it is created the new Biogenic Ooze is also stunned for its first round, it otherwise acts on the same Initiative count as the original.
Description
The Biogenic Ooze is a strange creature found in only the deepest and darkest areas of the Prime Material Plane although rumours hint at ties to the Abyss or a primordial demi-plane between the Elemental Planes of Water and Earth and connections to Jubilex or Ghaunadaur, some sages even hypothesize that the first Biogenic Ooze was a mad wizards attempt to create a troll with shape-shifting powers.
Biogenic Ooze have the ability to split themselves in two in a manner similar to an amoeba, fortunately these oozes have never been encountered on mass and they seem content to dwell in the furthest reaches of the Underdark but should they ever find their way into a town or city then they would prove hard to eradicate.
