Flyby. The Bone Blight Parrot doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Turn Immunity. The Bone Blight Parrot is immune to effects that turn undead.
Unusual Nature. The Bone Blight Parrot doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Bone Blight Bond. The parrot bonds with one creature and will never willingly leave that creature's side for more than 1 minute and will always know their exact location, if on the same plane of existence. After 1 minute it will relentlessly seek out its master.
Bone Dust Resurrection. Upon it's death, the Bone Blight Parrot reforms, like an undead phoenix, from its remains within 1d6 hours. It will then relentlessly seek its master and always knows their exact location, if on the same plane of existence.
Splintered Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) [piercing] damage.
Dirty Bird. 3/day the Bone Blight Parrot can viciously mock a creature within 60 ft. with a psychic voice mimicking attack. If the target can hear it, it must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or take 4 (1d4 +2) psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of it's next turn.
Teleport (Recharge 5-6). When hit with an attack the Bone Blight Parrot uses its reaction to magically teleport, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space it can see. It takes no damage, but leaves behind a loud squawk and a puff of rainbow feathers reminiscent of its once magnificent plumage..
Description
The Bone Parrot is a skeletal undead bird loyal to one master. Once covered in colorful plumage, this cursed creature now exists in a skeletal state. It psychically bonds itself, as a companion, to whomever slew it's previous master. It will not always be cooperative, honest, or friendly, but will fight alongside and (mostly) obey it's master. It is a vindictive creature and will seek revenge on a master that abandons it or locks it away. It likes crackers and shiny things as gifts. All persuasion and deception checks on the parrot, made by a gift-giver, have Advantage against it for 1 Minute. Even those from an enemy or stranger.
The Bone Blight Parrot can only be permanently destroyed by powerful spells such as Wish or by casting Dispel Evil and Good. A True Resurrection spell will return it to its living parrot state. It then retains only it's Flyby, Splintered Beak, and Dirty Bird abilities. It may choose to serve as a familiar.
