Amphibious. The dragon can breathe air and water.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its tail.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) piercing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Repulsion Breath. (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales repulsion energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 60 feet away from the dragon.
The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Tail Attack. The dragon makes a tail attack.
Pain Pangs (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon violently slams it's tail around as if trying to repel the creature that harmed it. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (3d10 ) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.
Lair and Lair Actions
A Vine Dragon Snake's Lair
A Vine Dragon Snake usually inahbits lush rain forest untouched by civilization. other times a Vine Dragon Snake can have a silent agreement between itself and other creatures of mutual respect and thus wouldn't get involved with eachother. Vine Dragon Snakes are mild tempered and try to avoid conflict, in some regions like in the Naga Forest of Continental Sulat they are regarded as forest guardians and usually offered with gifts and offerings to assure good relationship between them and the Naga and their Yuan Ti subjects.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects:
- Vines. Vines sprout on the ground around the dragon in a 30 -foot sphere. These plants turn the ground in that area into difficult terrain. A creature in that area when the effect begins must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw restrained by entangling vines and roots. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to make a DC 15 Strength (Athletics) check, freeing itself on a successful check. The effect ends after 1 minute or when the Vine Dragon Snake dies or uses Vines again.
- Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 20 ft., one creature. Hit: The target takes 20 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage, and it is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and it takes 21 (6d6) Bludgeoning damage at the start of each of its turns. The Vine Dragon Snake can constrict only one target at a time.
Regional Effects
The region containing a legendary bronze dragon’s lair is warped by the dragon’s magic.
- Once per day, the dragon can alter the Forest lay out in a 6-mile radius centered on its lair.
- plants within 6 miles of the dragon’s lair take on dazzlingly brilliant hues.
- Within its lair, the dragon can set Forest smells, such as smell of musk and flowery scents.
If the dragon dies, the forest reamins in its altered form forever but the smell disperse in 1d10 days.
