Description
Bacchae are worshipers of Dionysus (typically but not exclusively human females) that have been transformed through ritual and copious consumption of enchanted wine. Nightly orgies of drinking , dancing, singing (usually closer to screeching), as well as sex, frequently culminate in a brutal hunt. These hunts involve the pursuit and slaughter of animals (and occasionally sentient creatures), followed by a bloody feast of the victim. The Bacchae rarely directly these hunts towards particular targets, but unscrupulous (and powerful) charismatic leaders could target the murderous rage of the Bacchae.
