Description
The Big Polium, a "pill bug" or a "rolipoli", is a large insectoid creature that thrives on oxygen-rich environments and eats many plants for nourishment. They often appear to have a black or dark brown exterior with several tiny feet underneath their hard shells. They have two eye stalks very close to the ground in front of their 32 pairs of legs. When afraid or when in attack mode, the Big Polium will curl up into a ball and protect its soft underside using its chitinous exterior.
Big Poliums start out as tiny bugs. Usually, the poliums would stop growing once they reach about a quarter of an inch in length, but the Big Polium continues to grow until it is large - which happens over the course of about 100 days.
