Segmented. Storm Weaver is made out of 62 segments, 1 being the head and 1 being the tail. Attacks that have single targets will attack a body segment, the head segment, or the tail. The attacker needs to be able to see the segment to attack it.
Body Resistance. If an Attack hits a body segment, it’s damage is halved. This does not apply to the head and tail segment.
Lightning Drain. Whenever Storm weaver takes lightning damage, They will heal health equal to the amount of lightning damage that was dealt to them.
Speech. Storm Weaver can understand common, but can only communicate to other members of its species.
Control Lightning. Storm weaver is able to control lightning within a 50 ft radius of them. This also includes being able to pull lightning out of rain clouds. Alternatively, Storm Weaver can also summon a ball of lightning to use with this ability. Any creature that comes into contact with this lightning takes (4d8+4) Lightning Damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 3) Peircing damage + 6 (1d8 + 2) Lightning damage.
Lightning Blast (Recharge 5-6). Storm Weaver Conjures a ball of lightning and shoots it out. Each creature within an 80 ft line must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw and take 44 (8d8 + 6) on a failed saving throw, or take half as much on a success.
Concussive Blast (Recharge 5-6). Storm Weaver creates an extremely loud sound. Each creature 40 ft away from storm weaver in a 30 ft line perpendicular to its head must make a DC 18 dexterity saving throw, or be pushed back 20 ft, knocked prone, and takes 8 (2d6 + 4) thunder damage on a failed save. On a successful save, they are pushed back 10 ft, not knocked prone, and takes 5 (1d6 + 4) thunder damage.
Lightning Field. Storm Weaver creates a field full of crackling lightning that is 20x20x20 big in an area it can see in a 120 ft radius. The area becomes Difficult terrain, each creature that enters the area takes 10 (3d6 + 3) lightning damage. Any creature that starts their turn in the field takes the lightning damage, and any creature that ends their turn in the field takes the lightning damage. The field fades at the end of Storm Weavers 3rd turn after being created. Storm weaver can make a field again at the start of its turn 2 turns after the field disappears.
Dash. Storm Weaver dashes forwards 50 ft in a straight line. Any creature that is in the line when Storm weaver dashes must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw, or take 14 (4d6 + 2) Peircing damage and 6 (2d6 + 2) Lightning damage and be pushed 10 ft away perpendicular to Storm Weaver in a direction of the DM’S Choice.
Shock Pulse (Recharge 6). All of Storm Weavers segments Pulse a blast of lightning. Any creature within 20 ft of a segment from Storm weaver Must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (2d12 + 4) Lightning damage, Taking half on a failed save. If they failed the save, the creature must make a DC 18 Con save or be Paralyzed for 1 minute. A paralyzed creature can redo the saving throw at the end of their turns.
Surge. Storm Weaver increases all its movement speed by 10 for 3 turns. This effect fades at the end of its 3rd turn after activation. Storm weaver can use this ability again After 3 turns After activation.
Shock. When a creature misses an attack and is within 5 Ft of Storm Weaver, They take 6 (2d6) Lightning damage.
Storm Weaver can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Storm Weaver regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Bite (Costs 1 Actions). Storm Weaver makes 1 bite attack.
Dash (Costs 2 Actions). Storm Weaver makes 1 dash attack.
Lightning Blast (Costs 3 Actions). Storm Weaver makes 1 Lightning Blast attack.
Description
Storm Weaver is a large, Segmented Worm creature with thick armored place across its body. Its armor is a light gray, With its head segment having two large lightning like jaws that curve inwards and have sharp lightning-like turns mounted onto the side the head segment for its armor. Its body segments are mostly great with hints of blue on the sides, with pieces of armor going out and pointing down its body. It also has blue versions of these, that are scaled up. It’s tail has a lightning pattern.
