Mouth of Madness. The giant is immune to confusion spell.
Magic Resistance. The giant has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. The giant makes two weapon attacks.
Greatclub. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) piercing damage, and the target is swallowed if it is a Medium or smaller creature. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the giant, and takes 10 (3d6) acid damage at the start of each of the giant’s turns.
The giant’s gullet can hold up to three creatures at a time. If the giant takes 20 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the giant must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, each of which falls prone in a space within 10 feet of the giant. If the giant dies, any swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 10 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Tharizdun's Spark (Recharge 6). The giant touches a simple or martial weapon or a natural weapon, if it has one. The next creature hit by the touched weapon must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on all ability checks. The affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each minute, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Description
Hill giants that are tired of being bullied by others of their kind and more importantly hungry for more food than what they can normally get might reject the gods of the Ordning and, and don't choose to serve Ogrémoch and his earth cult, turn to the worship of the Elder Elemental Eye, often too stupid or too lazy to choose any one specific cult out of the 4 elemental cults, doing so directly often eating part of the sites infused with his power that they stumble across. Unbeknownst to them and most others the Elder Elemental Eye is actually the long forgotten sealed god Tharizdun, feeding their hunger for both power and food as their worship of the Elder Elemental Eye drives them to madness, infusing them with a small spark of Tharizdun's power.
These giants spend most of their time when awake consuming anything and everything they can, growing tougher from the consumption of otherwise harmful substances, though not all who fall to this practice survive. Those that do tend to become all-consuming, bent on devouring all of creation, one victim or chunk of rock at a time.
Such giants in their madness often scarred their own flesh with magical markings of the symbol of the Elder Elemental Eye or even that of Tharizdun's holy symbol, compelled in their madness to do this when they are not busy stuff themselves with whatever they can get their hands on. They wore the same crudely sewn animal hides that hill giants wore but almost exclusively made from the hides of large animals with black coloration.
