Description
The bonebreaker fish is a large solitary placodontid known for it's armored hide and ferocity. It's crushing bite can rend both armor and flesh with ease. It's powerful clawed fins and streamlined body allow it to burrow under the sand with ease. Although typically nonaggressive towards humanoids, hunger and desperation may drive them to seek easier prey. It's large plate like teeth and armored head are prized across Eventide.
Eventide When the ocean swells, Bonebreaker fish thrive off of groups of smaller placodonts. Thus attacks on humanoids are extremely rare.
Drytide When the tide is low, Bonebreaker fish typically burrow into the sand and wait to ambush passing creatures making excellent use of their tremorsense to leap out and devour anything that moves.
