Amorphous. The ooze can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Spider Climb. The ooze can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Alchemical Infusion. The ooze has one type of alchemical infusion placed within its body. This infusion adds to the damage that the ooze deals with its pseudopod and determines the type of damage it deals with its alchemical spray. The ooze is immune to damage of its infusion type. To determine the alchemical infusion of the ooze roll on the below table:
| d6 | Infusion Type |
| 1 | Acid |
| 2 | Cold |
| 3 | Fire |
| 4 | Lightning |
| 5 | Necrotic |
| 6 | Poison |
Multiattack. The alchemical ooze makes two alchemical pseudopod attacks.
Alchemical Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) bludgeoning and 10 (3d6) damage of its alchemical infusion.
Alchemical Spray (Recharge 5-6). The alchemical ooze spews forth from its body a part of the alchemical reagent it was infused with, covering a 10 ft. radius of terrain it can see within 20 feet of itself. Any creature inside this area, when the ability is used, must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) points of damage of its alchemical infusion on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The area is also considered difficult terrain for 1 minute. Any creature entering the area must succeed on the same Dexterity saving throw or take the same damage when entering.
Split. When an ooze that is Medium or larger is subjected to slashing or damage of its alchemical infusion, it splits into two new oozes if it has at least 10 hit points. Each new ooze has hit points equal to half the original ooze, rounded down. New oozes are one size smaller than the original ooze.
Description
Created by alchemists as a means of protecting their laboratories and safeguarding their secrets, these oozes were endowed with increased intelligence in order to perform these tasks with greater success. Appearing to be nothing more than a large pile of alchemical run-off or sludge, the ooze will remain motionless in one area or relentlessly patrol its assigned post.
Unwavering Guards. Despite their increased intelligence, these oozes will blindly follow any order given by their master, even if it leads to their own death. Their sole purpose on this plane is to serve their masters and complete every task assigned to them to its fullest extent.
Alchemical Body. The alchemical ooze has been infused with various reagents that assist in keeping it in a congealed form. This also has a secondary effect of allowing the ooze to store alchemical effects inside its body which it can then use to execute tasks assigned by its master. These tasks can be as simple as boiling a cauldron or keeping samples cool, or as complex as protecting a specific area from intruders.
