Air Form. The air mite can enter a creature's space and stop there. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Flyby. The air mite doesn't provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Multiattack. The air mite makes one slam attack and, if it can, uses its restrict.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Restrict (Recharge 4-6). The air mite attempts to block 1 targets windpipe. The creature must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature cannot breath or speak, and the air mite has complete cover and is restrained. At the start of each of the creature's turns, it takes 9 (2d6) bludgeoning damage. The creature may repeat the saving throw as an action, expelling the elemental mite on a success.
While the air mite is restricting a target, it has advantage on slam attacks against that target, and it cannot restrict or attack another creature.
Description
An air mite is a whirling force of air, filling the skies of the elemental plane of air. while considerably less formidable than their larger elemental counterparts, air mites are small and savage, entering a victim's mouth in an attempt to suffocate its prey.

Posted Jun 27, 2019Tiny. Also you mention other elemental types. I'd be interested in seeing the fire mites. They'd probably be vulnerable to cold damage.
