Multiattack. The wyvern makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its stinger. While flying, it can use its claws in place of one other attack.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 6) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 6) slashing damage.
Stinger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 6) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Your fanged bite is a natural weapon, which counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. You add your CON modifier, instead of your STR modifier, to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with this bite. It deals 2d6+6 piercing damage.
On biting a creature that isn’t a Construct or an Undead, you can do one of:
- Regain hit points equal to the piercing damage dealt by the bite.
- Gain a bonus to the next ability check or attack roll you make; the bonus equals the piercing damage dealt by the bite.
As a bonus action, you can activate any rite you know on a weapon you're holding. A weapon can only hold one active rite at a time. When activated, you take 1d6 necrotic damage which can't be reduced in any way.
While your rite is in effect, attacks made with this weapon are magical and you deal an additional 1d6 damage of the type determined by the chosen rite. The rite’s effect lasts until you finish a short/long rest and other creatures cannot gain the benefit of your rite.
The extra damage dealt by your rite is fire damage.
Description
Cousins to the great dragons, wyverns have two scaly legs, leathery wings, and a sinewy tail topped with a poison stinger that can kill a creature in seconds.
