Traits

Amorphous. The pudding can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the pudding or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 4 (1d8+1) acid damage. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the pudding corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative −2 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to −4, the weapon is destroyed. For every weapon destroyed, Acid Jello gains health equal to the damage that weapon can deal. (For example, if Acid Jello destroyed a Greatclub, it would gain 8 hit points. For Versatile weapons, Acid Jello would gain the max amount of hit points it could. (If it destroyed a Quarterstaff, it would receive 8 health.) in addition, any armor destroyed by the Pseudopod or Infiltrate action will add +1 armor to Acid Jello for every Light armor, +2 for every Medium armor, and +3 for every Heavy armor)

Nonmagical ammunition made of metal that hits the pudding is destroyed after dealing damage.

The Jello can eat through 6-inch-thick, nonmagical metal in 1 round.

Spider Climb. The pudding can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check, and is Immune to rough terrain.

Actions

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d8 + 1) bludgeoning damage plus 20 (5d8) acid damage. In addition, nonmagical armor worn by the target is partly dissolved and takes a permanent and cumulative −3 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.

Infiltrate. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: (1d4 - 2) bludgeoning damage. In addition, If the armor is magical, Acid Jello moves into armor, dealing 1d8 acid damage to both armor and character until the armor is *doffed. If Acid Jello stays in armor for more than 5 turns, the armor takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC for every turn it is not removed. *Doffed means taken off.

Reactions

Split. When a pudding that is Medium or larger is subjected to lightning or slashing damage, it splits into three new puddings if it has at least 12 hit points. Each new pudding has hit points equal to half +2 the original pudding's, rounded up. New puddings are one size smaller than the original pudding.

Description

The Acid Jello is a  ooze that is commonly found in caves, mines, and anywhere else that contains metal. Occasionally, they can be found in armories, eating through old pieces of armor. Gnolls and Orcs are known to use them to break through the metal walls of the town or castle they are trying to raid. Usually they only eat metal, but when they run out of metal, they are known to eat living things. Acid Jello are the color of what they eat. For example: gold: gold, cobalt: blue, iron: brownish red, living things: red, But they always have a streak of vomit green.
