Description
The fire mask is a legendary artifact, a stone mask that is impervious to damage, and its origins are shrouded in mystery. Rumors tell of two possible origins either the mask was created when a great warrior fell defeating a powerful fire elemental, or a great, possibly deific power, created the mask as a trick on commonfolk.
Heart of Fire. A Humanoid that dons the mask will become the avatar of the mask, wielding the power of fire that the mask contains. The mask enlarges the wearer, and bolsters their body with physical prowess, but cannot be removed once it is put on. Six arms made of controlled flame flank the wearer's form and appear to control the fires created by the wearer.
Fire of the Mind. The masks warp the avatar's personality, causing them to embody the indiscriminate chaos that fire represents. The avatar can be reasoned with but is quick to anger, and this anger can rapidly grow out of control.
