Description
The oahtu have successfully domesticated the mighty aurochs beetle. The aurochs resembles a rhinoceros beetle, but is slightly larger and more intelligent. The oahtu use it as a beast of burden, sometimes decorating them with elaborate barding.
The aurochs beetles are generally docile, if stubborn mounts. If spooked, provoked, or perhaps infected by the spores of the Thorn-Shade-Mother, they charge into battle using their horns and their sheer bulk to scatter enemies.
