Amphibious. The water bear can breathe in air and water.
Cryptobiosis. When the water bear drops to zero hit points, it enters cryptobiosis, halting all activity and shrinking to a compact bear-shaped ball of size Tiny. It transforms back to its normal size after 14 days. The water bear dies if it is decapitated, incinerated, or disintegrated.
Multiattack. The bear makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Pulse. Ranged Weapon Attack: all creatures within 15 feet of the water bear must make a strength saving throw or be pushed 5 ft backwards and take 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
