Using this effect will dispel the sand and you cannot use it again until a short rest.
Description
[NOTE: This was created as a story beat for a certain character, and is more of an extension of that character. Feel free to use as a jumping off point for any characters you may have with similar stories.]
Raised by her older sister after an accident took their parents away when she was young, Astra was a well kept, kind and intelligent person. Her sister, Luna Mythwalker, did her best to balance work and taking care of Astra. Astra understood and appreciated this and loved her sister dearly. Astra was a very kind and caring girl, always caring for others and put her knowledge to helping people. Despite her older sister receiving accolades for prodigy levels of intelligence, she seemed to be even smarter, but was very humble and would leave the "complicated stuff" to her older sister. She did seem distant to some and often had a far off gaze in her eyes, but that was because she was known to be very shy unless she warmed up to you or you needed help she hoped she could provide. She would often stare into space to try to avoid eye contact or drawing attention to herself, but always listening incase something around her happened. However, when Astra was 10, a disease of rare flesh eating parasites, hypothesized to be related to space horrors, started to slowly kill her from the inside. Both sisters learned of this when Luna was in her senior year, and Luna vowed to cure her only family left. She majored in Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology to find the cure for Astra's disease. She dedicated herself to study, spending every second out of school next to Astra's hospital bed with a textbook in hand. Astra did feel lonely sometimes, but she wasn't upset at her sister. Eventually, Luna graduated college, and got a job with the top research branch in the TSA. Astra was proud but even more sad when Luna was gone more and more. Despite the waiting, the cure Luna promised never came. Luna would come to the hospital bed and put on a brave face, but as soon as Astra pretended to fall asleep Luna would curse to her organization about being forced to put less and less time into saving the dying girl. The night Astra died, Luna was out again working late. Her last words, known only to her, a nurse that was with her and then told Luna, were "Ill miss you, Sis... I hope we can be together again". She died at the age of 16.
