Antimagic Cone. The angel's third eye creates an area of antimagic, as in the antimagic field spell, in a 150-foot cone. At the start of each of its turns, it decides which way the cone faces. The cone doesn't function while the eye is closed.
Legendary Resistance (5/Day). If the angel fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Sever Silver Cord. If the angel scores a critical hit against a creature traveling by means of the astral projection spell, the angel can cut the target's silver cord instead of dealing damage.
Unusual Nature. The angel doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Multiattack. The angel makes one bite attack, one tail attack and six claw attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 45 (2d12 + 4d10 + 10) force damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (2d10 + 10) force damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 20) and is restrained until this grapple ends. The angel can have only one creature grappled this way at a time.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (2d12 + 10) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 27 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
The angel can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The angel regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Claw. The angel makes one claw attack.
Psychic Scream (Costs 3 Actions). Each creature within 60 feet of the angel must make a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw, taking 26 (4d10 + 4) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
Adexan angels are nothing like the celestials other worlds know and love. Adex's heavenly beings are terrifying monsters created by the trickster god Xe that are evil to the core.
Astral angels are more bestial in mind than their brethren. They are humanoid in form, with a pincer on each of their fingertips and six larger claws on their backs. A third eye sits in the middle of an astral angel's forehead, its pale blue draconic gaze nullifying magic. An astral angel's hide is gray and leathery, its mouth full of long, sharp teeth and a long tail lashing behind them.
