Kin of Beasts (1/day). The raider casts conjure animals to summon a giant boar
Martial Advantage. Once per turn, the brute can deal an extra 7 (2d6) damage to a creature it hits with a greataxe attack if that creature is within 5 feet of an ally of the voort that isn’t incapacitated.
Pigheaded. If damage reduces the voort to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is from a critical hit. On a success, the voort drops to 1 hit point instead.
Unarmored Defense. The brute adds its Constitution modifier to its AC calculation.
Multiattack. The brute makes two greataxe attacks or two punch attacks.
Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d12 + 4) slashing damage.
Punch. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Aggressive. The brute can move up to its speed toward a hostile creature that it can see.
Description
Voort are brutish humanoids with hunched postures, porcine faces, two tiny horns, and prominent tusks. They tend to be nomadic and tribalistic, but generally avoid going out of their way to attack civilizations.
Due to their poor intellect, Voort are relatively trusting of anyone who comes bearing a gift of gold, which they covet above any other material. All other gifts have been met with mixed success, as Voort have no need for diamond or gems and see them as just shaped rocks, albeit ones that sparkle, and are more receptive of silver. This is likely due to silver’s shine as opposed to diamond’s sparkle, the former being something a Voort’s poor eyesight can make out. As such, Voort can be negotiated with for safe passage or for valuable items.
However, due to their tribal ways, an attack against one is seen as an attack against the whole, and a band of Voort Raiders and Bowmen will immediately drop all alliances or friendships with the offending party. This also means that some bands of Voort, hearing of a party’s attacks against their kind, will be instantly hostile to that party. Because many armors look like shiny metal to them, Voort have also been known to attack armored passers-by, who they believe have stolen their gold. It does not matter of this theft is real or imagine, for Voort will attack first and are pigheaded enough to refuse to stop fighting, even if gold is offered or thrown in their direction.
