Point Defence Cannons. The Assault-Mech is equipped with two shoulder-mounted Point Defense Cannons that can intercept and destroy incoming projectiles, such as missiles and rockets. It provides extra protection with a +3 damage reduction against non-magical ranged attacks, except those made with firearms.
Breacher. The Assault-Mech deals double damage to objects and structures.
Onslaught. The Mech can exchange one of its weapon attacks to take the disengage action.
Multiattack. The Assault-Mech makes two weapon attacks.
Arm-Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage, plus 5 (1d10) slashing damage if the target is prone.
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Auto-Cannon. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 120 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d12 + 6) Force damage.
Magic-Mortar (Recharge 6). The Assault mech launches 3 projectiles at 3 points within 60ft, forcing all creatures within a 5ft radius of such a point to make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 12 (4d4 + 4) piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If two or more such area's overlap the DC is set to 14 and the damage is stacked up to a maximum of 28 (12d4+4) piercing damage. The projectiles airburst, detonating just above the target, raining down hot shrapnel on anyone standing below.
Description
Assault-Mechs are machines built to be a much faster, lighter, but most importantly, cheaper option than deploying a Warforged Titan. They are often used to quickly breach obstacles and rugged terrain, flanking enemy positions. Closing in fast and laying waste to anything that gets too close, they are a force to be reckoned with. Just like Warforged Titans, Assault mech's , are made to be barely sentient, with just enough intelligence to follow commands.
Legacy of Giants. In the Age of Giants , giant artificers built mindless war golems to aid them in their war against the quori. Millennia later, some of these golems were unearthed by adventurers searching for the secrets of that age, then turned over to artificers working for the dragonmarked houses during the Last War. House Cannith studied these designs, and in the course of uncovering the secrets of the golems and the giant artificers who made them, House Cannith created the first warforged titans.
