Blood-Bound. If the thrall has not consumed 1 ounce of blood from a vampire within the past week, it is poisoned for 1 week and it loses darkvision, its climb speed and its Limited Regeneration, Spider Climb, and Sunlight Sensitivity traits until it consumes 1 ounce of vampire blood.
Limited Regeneration. The thrall regains 5 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and isn’t in sunlight. If the thrall takes radiant damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the thrall’s next turn.
Spider Climb. The thrall can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the thrall has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Multiattack. The thrall makes two Unarmed Strike or Light Crossbow attacks in any combination.
Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage.
Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Protect Master. When a vampire ally within 5 feet of the thrall is hit by an attack, the thrall can choose to be hit instead.
Description
"Before you stands a pitiful figure, their body hunched and their gaze empty, a haunting testament to servitude and despair. This vampire thrall, marked by the touch of their undead masters, bears a ragged and desperate appearance. Their once vibrant attire now hangs in tatters, clinging to their emaciated form, the fabric stained and torn. Sunken eyes, haunted and lifeless, peer out from beneath a mop of disheveled hair, greasy and unkempt."
Thralls of Vampires.
Servants and lackeys of vampires, vampire thralls receive blood from their masters’ veins periodically, granting them a number of benefits so long as they continue to receive their masters’ blood.
Seekers of Vampirism.
Vampire thralls are not themselves undead, though many are hopeful they soon will be. Ingesting humanoid blood is in no way beneficial to a thrall, but this fact has not prevented many from trying.
