Traits

Bloody Murder. When a creature dies within 240ft of Bhaal and/or within sight of Bhaal, he surges with energy from the thrill of murder. Bhaal can take one action as a bonus action. This effect can stack up to two times.

Innate Spellcasting. Bhaal's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 23). Bhaal can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: alter self (can become Medium when changing his appearance- only when in The Slayer form), blight, dispel magic, fly (Self-only), invisibility, vampiric touch (6th level)

3/day: cloudkill (6th level), counterspell (4th level), destructive wave (necrotic damage only), dominate person, geas, major image (6th level)

1/day: earthquake, harm, incendiary cloud

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If Bhaal fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Bhaal has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Bhaal's weapon attacks are magical.

Actions

Multiattack. Bhaal makes three attacks with his daggers while in The Slayer form, or makes two attacks with his fists or in The Ravager form.

Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:  13 (2d4 + 8) piercing damage. On hit the target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 18) or take 7 (2d6) poison damage. If the target fails the first saving throw they must make another saving throw of the same. On failure the target loses one point of constitution and can only regain lost constitution points after a long rest or with the use of a greater restoration spell.

Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage. On a hit or miss, all targets within a 15ft radius of the target, including the target, must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23). On failure a target takes 7 (2d6) fire damage, and is knocked prone and pushed 10ft away from the target that was originally hit or missed. On success a target is unaffected.

Bonus Actions

Belt of Bloodied Heads. Bhaal has a belt of living heads of those he had slaughtered previously (up to 8). As a bonus action, he can choose to kill one the heads on his belt, creating a wisp of death that orbits Bhaal. Each wisp lasts for 1 minute, or until used for its effect. Bhaal can stack this ability up to three times.

Transform. Bhaal can transform between The Slayer and The Ravager. To transform into The Slayer he can use a bonus action at anytime while in The Ravager form. To transform into The Ravager he must use a bonus action when he has three wisps orbiting around him while he is in Slayer form. Transforming into The Ravager gives Bhaal a +2 bonus to AC and changes his size to gargantuan, taking up as much space as the room allows, with these effects lasting as long as he is in this form. While in The Ravager form he maintains all other statistics that he had in The Slayer form. Bhaal cannot remain in The Ravager form for longer than 1 minute- transforming back into The Slayer form after staying in The Ravager form for too long.

Reactions

Purge Wisp. Bhaal can use a reaction to give himself +4 to AC on an attack after the attack role is rolled, or +4 to a saving throw after the saving throw has been rolled as long as he has one or more wisps orbiting around me. Bhaal can use any number of wisps at the same time if he chooses to do so.

Legendary Actions

Bhaal can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Bhaal regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Melee Attack(s). Bhaal makes attacks based on what form he has taken. If Bhaal is in The Slayer form he makes two attacks with his daggers. If Bhaal is in The Ravager form he makes one attack with his fist.

Move. Bhaal moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Blood Curdle (Costs 3 actions). Bhaal roars as the blood spread from battle swirls around him. Bhaal heals for an amount equal to 5 x the number of targets that have been injured that are within 120ft of him. This ability explodes corpses of those that he has killed within range- counting them as two targets that have been injured instead of one. All other creatures within 10ft of exploding corpses take 14 (4d6) fire damage and 14 (4d6) necrotic damage. Bhaal can only use this ability while in The Ravager form.
