Description
Similar to tressym, an aunon is a mischievous quadruped, with a body much like a fox, opposable thumbs on it’s front paws, an avian type head similar to a raven, and many eyes.
Thought to be the results of wizardly experimentation on common animals, aunon are intelligent and have been known to form strong friendships with humanoids, particularly rangers and wizards. Aunon get along well with others of their kind, but they rarely lair or hunt together.
Aunon mate with others of their kind, but they don’t mate for life.
Aunon have good memories, and a lucky, healthy aunon can live to be 60 years old.
With the DM’s permission, a person who casts the find familiar spell can choose to conjure an anunon instead.
