Description
After the Gods defeated Atlas and his fellow Titans in the Titanomachy they were all banished to Tartarus for all eternity. Except for Atlas, he instead was chosen by the king of the gods to hold up the sky for all eternity preventing the astral plane from getting too close to the new growing world below him.
Atlas resides on the tallest point throughout all of the material plane holding up the sky awaiting the day someone stumbles apon him, hoping that they can lift his burden by taking his place holding the sky.
Lair and Lair Actions
Regional Effects
The mountain where Atlas resides has these effects to any who dare attempt to climb to its peak.
- Anyone who is 5 or less miles from the peak of Atlas's Mountain feels lighter and can jump 25% higher.
- Anyone who is 5 or less miles from the peak of Atlas's Mountain can see the Astral Plane above them.
If there is no one to hold up the sky these effects will become active everywhere until 2d6 days when the Material Plane is invaded by the Astral Plane and chaos reigns supreme.
