Traits

Divine Being. The avatar's ability scores and maximum hit points can't be reduced. He is immune to disease, and magic can't put him to sleep. He can't be possessed, surprised, or affected by spells and other magical effects that would destroy or alter his form against his will, banish him, or instantly cause him to die or drop to 0 hit points.

Divine Awareness. The solar knows if it hears a lie.

Fear Aura. Any creature that starts its turn within 20 feet of the avatar must make a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is frightened until the start of its next turn. If a creature’s saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the avatar's Fear Aura for the next 24 hours.

Hasten Demise. When the avatar scores a critical hit against a creature within 5 feet of him, that creature takes an additional 10 (3d6) psychic damage and must succeed on a DC 23 Charisma saving throw or be instantly slain, undead automatically fail the saving throw.

Innate Spellcasting. The avatar's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 23). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: calm emotions, fly, gentle repose, sanctuary, teleport (self only)

3/day each: Hallow (casting time of 1 action for Everlasting Rest effect), divine word

1/day each: antimagic field, illusory dragon

Legendary Resistance (5/Day). If the avatar fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. The avatar has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Regeneration. The avatar regains 30 hit points at the start of his turn.

Actions

Multiattack. The avatar uses Ineluctable Fate and makes three melee weapon attacks. He can replace one of those attacks with his Visions of the Void.

Fatal Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +20 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (1d8 + 11) slashing damage, plus 4 (1d8) radiant damage. If the target is a fiend or an undead, it takes an additional 11 (2d10) slashing damage.

Ineluctable Fate. Ranged Spell Attack: automatic hit, range 45 ft., one creature. Hit: 60 psychic damage.

Visions of the Void. The avatar targets one humanoid he can see within 60 feet, showing him a glimpse of an afterlife of everlasting rest. The target must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or suffer 2 levels of exhaustion and is incapacitated. At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw. The target has advantage on the saving throw if it’s triggered by damage. On a success, the target is no longer incapacitated.

Legendary Actions

The avatar can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The avatar regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Forbidding Strike. The avatar moves up to half his speed without provoking opportunity attacks and makes one melee weapon attack. On a hit, the attack deals an additional 7 (2d6) slashing damage and the target can't regain any hit points for 24 hours or until a greater restoration spell is cast to end the effect.

Judgment of the Damned (Costs 2 Actions). Up to six creatures that the avatar can see within 30 feet of him must make a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 35 (10d6) psychic damage and is incapacitated until the end of the avatar's next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't incapacitated.

Shadow of the Spire (Costs 3 Actions). The avatar casts Power Word Kill, without expending a spell slot or requiring components.
